Day 1 Marrakech - Imlil – Tizi n’Tamaterte – Ouanskra

Your guide will meet you at your location in Marrakech and transfer you to Imlil. 

We set out today towards the east,  journeying up winding mule tracks to the tizi n’ tamaterte (2279m) toenjoy the amazing panorama of the surrounding atlas mountain rangepeaks and valleys on our way to our picnic spot on the tizi n’tamaterte. 

The spot is overlooking jbel oukaimeden and the beautiful encircled plateau. 

After lunch we set of following the path down to imnane valley until wereach our gite d’etape in Ouanskra village. 

5 to 6 hours walking. 

We then stay in Wanskra village overnight with a local meal provided in the guesthouse.

Day 2 Ouanskra – ikkis – tizi n’aguersiwal – aguersiwal – imlil - Marrakech

After breakfast , we set off down the assif imnane valley, passing through several berber hamlets and then up to the tizi n’ageursiwal(2000m). 

Once through the col we shall now go down more winding muletracks leading to the village of aguersiwal where we can rest and take lunch. 

After lunch,we set off in river bed of Imlil , allowing another hour to get up thevalley to imlil. 

6 hours walking. 

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your location in Marrakech. 

The trek package includes:

* Breakfasts, lunches and evening meal. 

Accomodation is in Ouanskra village in a small, local refuge. 

A cook escorts you and your party on the tour and full meals, asdescribed above are included.

Departures are available every day, starting from Marrakech or Imlil.

2 Adults in your reservation: €110 per person

3 to 5 Adults in your reservation: €90 per person

6 to 8 Adults in your reservation €80 per person

9 to 11 Adults in your reservation €70 per person

12 to 19 Adults in your reservation €60 per person

20 or more adults in your reservation €50 per person

Cancellation policy:

Minimum of 2 Adults required. Children aged 10 yearsand under join the trek at half the adult rate. 1 child aged 5 yearsand under is allowed to join the trek free of charge.

All deposits are completely non refundable.

Cancellations within 2 days of the service start date = loss of deposit.

No shows will be charged at 100% of the outstanding balance.In the event of an incident or event which prevents you from joining the tour or travelling, we are happy to work with you to provide you with confirmations for your insurance company. Changes to reservations are possible, without penalty. If the change results in a different total reservation cost, you will be advised of any finanacial changesat that time.

About your guide:

Houssine, Atlas Mountain guide, originally from a Berber area, he worked as a muleteer for a long time with individuals and groups. In 2000 he graduated from the “Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing and Mountaineering.'

Inaddition to his experience and knowledge in the Atlas Mountain, this diploma qualified him as a Mountain Guide, able to organize trips ofall kinds around the Kingdom of Morocco for walkers & non-walkers. Houssine aims to introduce his own Berber culture to his customers asan old culture in the North Africa.
